In all his providences relating to themselves, to their souls or their bodies, the pure in heart see God more particularly. They see his hand ever over them for good, giving them all things in weight and measure, numbering the hairs of their head (Matthew 10:30), making a hedge around them (Job 1:10) and all that they have, and arranging all the circumstances of their life according to the depth of both his wisdom and his mercy.
