Ἔσο, φησὶν ὁ Χριστός, μὴ πρὸς τὸ λαμβάνειν ἕτοιμος, ἀλλὰ πρὸς τὸ διδόναι· τὸ μὲν γὰρ χωρίζει ἡμᾶς ἀπὸ θεοῦ, τὸ δὲ συνάπτειν πέφυκε καὶ μάλιστα, ὅταν ὁ αἰτῶν ἄξιος τυγχάνῃ καὶ δικαία ἡ αἴτησις.
