40 ∆ώδεκα εἶπε λεγεῶνας· ἀντὶ ὑμῶν λέγων τῶν δώδεκα μαθητῶν, ὥστε οὐ τῆς ὑμῶν ἐπικουρίας δέομαι· οὐ γὰρ κέχρημαι τῇ ἐξουσίᾳ, ἀλλ' ἐκδίδωμι ἐμαυτὸν τοῖς Ἰουδαίοις, ἐπείπερ τοῦτο ἐσόμενον προανήγγειλαν αἱ γραφαί, ὅτι ταῦτα μέλλουσιν οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι ποιεῖν.
