What happened was a riddle: when the Jews were cast out of the temple with the typological sacrifices, the blind and lame are healed — a type of the nations. And let those who sell the Spirit’s gifts and the priesthood also learn that the Lord cast the sellers of pigeons out of the temple with a scourge, and let them stop gathering profits for themselves from ordinations (Matthew 21:14).
