There is no unbelieving people except yours, unjust ones, so often and in so many places rejected by the law of those who cry out. And the High One scorns your sabbaths and thirtieths; he cut off entirely all yours from the law, so that you would not even make him the commanded sacrifices — he who said he would send a stone for your scandal. If any of you have not believed, by an unjust death — another part of the law cries: “You will see from there Life hung on the wood; and you did not believe him.” God himself is life; he himself hung for us — but you with hardened heart mock the same one.

39 ITERUM IPSIS. Incredulus populus non est nisi uester, iniqui, Tot locis et totiens reprobatus lege clamantum. Et sabbatas uestras spernit et tricensimas Altus Rescidit omnino uniuersas uestras de lege, Ut nec sacrificia faceret<is> illi praecepta Mittere qui dixit lapidem in scandalo uestro. Iniqua si quis uestrum non crediderint morte Pars alia legis clama<t>: 'Uidebitis inde Suspensam in ligno uitam; nec illi credidistis'.
